Installer Show 2025

The show just seems to get bigger. But does it get better? We think so.
There's an incredible spread of products and services at the show this year. A truly impressive array. From inventions that I have never seen before to some of the hearty staples.
Dart stands, tombolas and the usual visual stunts to keep people interested and a ton, absolutely ton of take home gifts.
But let's talk about the good stuff.
Have your heard about ClimaBox?

Hybrid ventilation solution. Game changer. This was truly an impressive find on the stand displays. I found it by pure fluke. I was ear wigging a conversation at one of the retrofit seminars, from a (big name in the sector).
Hybrid Ventilation Solution. Game Changer.
This was a truly impressive find tucked away among the stand displays—discovered entirely by fluke. I happened to overhear a conversation at one of the retrofit seminars between a very big name in the sector and another delegate. They were raving about a breakthrough system quietly solving multiple problems at once. I sprinted out of the session and made a beeline to the stand. There, I met Ehjaz Khan, who gave me the full lowdown on what might just be one of the most disruptive products in the building services space right now.
Enter ClimaBox
ClimaBox is a 4-in-1 hybrid climate control unit that heats, cools, ventilates, and dehumidifies—all in one sleek box. Designed by a team with decades of experience in building services, it tackles one of the biggest issues in housing: how to achieve efficient, comfortable environments without relying on outdated or over engineered systems.
Unlike traditional air conditioning or central heating, ClimaBox makes use of what’s already around us. If your home is too warm, it checks the outdoor air and draws in cool, fresh ventilation. If it's too cold downstairs but hot in the attic, it redirects that free heat where it's needed. The result? A system that redistributes rather than generates heat, significantly lowering energy use and costs.
Better still, it’s fast-acting, thanks to fan coil tech. No more waiting for underfloor heating to gently warm a room. ClimaBox reacts in seconds, delivering immediate comfort.
Why it matters now:
- All the recent regulatory changes—SAP, TM59, Part O—are actually aligned with what ClimaBox already delivers.
- It’s installer-friendly: plumbers can fit it, meaning it sidesteps the skilled labour shortage choking the industry.
- It’s retrofit-ready and actively being tested in homes, especially social housing.
- It collects data in real-time to prove compliance, helping developers and landlords avoid overheating penalties without needing to send in teams of engineers.
The bottom line?
If you're still talking about "central heating" in 2025, you're probably behind the curve. ClimaBox is built for modern homes, changing climates, and a sector crying out for practical, affordable innovation. This isn't just another HVAC upgrade—it's a rethink of how we control comfort in buildings. And it’s happening right now.
It's gonna make waves.
Did You See These Guys?
So the next stand that really stood out was the Becker and Wolf all in one heat pump and cylinder.
This really caught our eye and was a wise place to launch the product to. Why?
Can you imagine how much less piping and install time is going to be saved by this all in one solution?
And look at the size of it, it dramatically reduce the form factor of an installation in a retrofit property.
We spoke to the CEO of the company Chris Jupp;
"I have a bit of back story when it comes to this technology, and I know this will be a unique editing to the home energy market."
To find out more about this unique device, get hold of Chris, his technical knowledge is outstanding;
The InstallerShow was genuinely packed with innovation during it's tenure this year, and demonstrates the size and will for new tech and advances in heat, energy and tool sectors - whilst keeping a nod to the old guard.
The level of expertise demonstrated on stands also highlights one of the most underused assets in getting clean heat and renewable technology, the people that install the tech. I got more questions answered talking to the stand experts in a few minutes than hours of PDF and seminar lectures.
The question is, how can we bottle more of this expertise for the consumer to access?
In order to answer some of this and another question we had burning in our minds.
Why aren't more people accessing retrofit solutions.
Our Survey
We conducted a survey of 50 product and manufacturer stands at the show. We asked if companies had read recommendations from 4 key industry trade bodies to use case study and personal testimony in their communications, we asked if they were using the most valuable tool, video case studies.
Then we asked them about LLM search - getting their companies information to appear in search results from Large Language Models - the places where consumers are searching.
The results where pretty conclusive.
To access the results of our survey, sign up to the magazine and we'll publish a review and what we think needs to change next week.
